Lego Mindstorm Robots Demo

Integration of instruments into the Grid environment (using the new Instrument Element for GLite) is demonstrated in an exploration scenario using a set of LEGO MINDSTORM robots. In the demo, the Virtual Control Room is used to control the robots, define the exploration strategy, monitor the exploration workflow, visualize and process the data acquired by the robots. All the traditional Grid resources plus the instruments are used collectively. The demo also shows the use of the VCR as a Grid portal that simplifies access to all the standard resources in the VO.
