OGS application: LAST: - The application will use the VCR dorii-vcr - IE/IM already developed. IE connected to DORII VCR. VCR seams sometimes slow to access IEs. - Problems with the job submission, CE at PSNC. PSNC is not listed in the BDII and not correctly configured for mpi support. VCR job submission working. - key users defined, basic task list available UPDATE: - still problems in the computational part. This is critical as blocks user evaluation. - user evaluation will start when computational part will work. - installation of the VCR at the OGS is progressing

UC application: LAST: - VCR problems solved, jobs submitted (image processing) - IE is now working, IE connected to VCR, security not yet solved (reinstalled IE using SL4.7 without SELinux). - key users defined, basic task list available UPDATE: - security problems solved in the dorii-vcr. - user evaluation can start usign the dorii vcr - csic vcr problems still need to be solved in parallel

EUCENTER application: LAST: - IE completed. Still working on connection of the IE to the SE. IE connected to the DORII VCR but sometimes seams slow. - The application will use the VCR dorii-vcr. VCR managed to run the job, computation is OK - key people defined, basic task list available. UPDATE: - IE to SE solved - user evaluation can start next week - installation of a new vcr at EUCENTER is progressing

ELETTRA application: LAST: - interactivity and transparent file access (parrot) under development. We have found a bug in parrot. Parrot developers contacted. Still not working. Problems in accepting limited proxies. - The application will use the gridats vcr. - key people defined, task list grouped in scenarios available. UPDATE: - all applications are now working - parrot problems have been solved, applications forms for the interactive, online, offline processing. - ready for user evaluation that will start next week

AOB: - the structure of DNA3.2 is available on the NA3 presentation at the AHM - the evaluation process steps are: 1. training of the key users (generic dorii training, generic vcr training, specific task training - about 1 our) 2. task list execution (each user will execute independently and alone the task list) 3. questionnaire filling (each user will fill independently the online questionnaire)

ACTION ITEMS - this week Alex should solve the problems of the computing part of the OGS application (CRITICAL) - this week prepare questionnaire (Roberto) - next week run evaluations and complete by friday 10/4/09 (ALL) - prepare material for dorii general, vcr and specific training for each pilot application by this week (ALL) - preparation of DNA3.2 with the questionnaire results by 17/4/09 (Roberto, ALL)
