JRA: We have finally released the first prototype of the DORII middleware architecture

Yesterday - teleconf, where we were discussing the results and experience we have made with the first release and plans for the next (2nd) one we will have at the end of July.

The main results - the partners are satisfied with the release procedure we have used and any considerable improvements aren't required.

We also defined the next steps we will follow up during next months.

      a) We'll extend the architecture by a description of APIs in the graphical notion which should greatly improve the understanding of the components integration issues.

b) We'll define a release plan for the common lib c) We'll analyse the feedback from applications and surveys of middleware solutions, after that we'll update and extend the plan for the adaptation of components we represented in the our deliverable.

The minutes are available at the JRA-page in Wiki.

We set up a draft of the page Middleware, available in the commonly accessible area at: http://www.dorii.eu/resources:adaptation:middleware

We discussed also a possibility to have a data bank of publications which have been prepared in the frame of DORII. We can set up a page for this purpose, but maybe a dissemination area would better fit this purpose.

3. Put attention on project to project collaborations

DEISA: - computation resources

Integration team: -to test releases -to integrate it with applications -will be lead by Technical Architect action to send around SG -around 7 people

4. AOB - discussion with Leibnitz, nVidia REmote Visualisation System to be deployed,
